Cheri Promotion | Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions of entry.

2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

3. To enter, tell us in 25 words or less: What is your favourite love story and why? Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed ineligible and will be discarded.

4. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of a prize occurring between the date of printing and the date the prize is claimed. Prize value mentioned is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing.

5. Promotion commences 24 June 2009 at 00:01 AEDST and concludes at 23:59 AEDST on 24 July 2009. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges. Judging will begin on 27 July 2009 at 11am at the judges’ premises. The winner will be notified by mail using contact details provided in their entry.

6. The best entry as deemed by the judges will win a strand of pearls and matching pearl stud earrings, valued at $ 1,570. The next 20 best entries will each win double in-season pass to CHERI, valued at $32 each. All ancillary costs associated with redeeming this prize is the responsibility of the winner. Total prize pool is valued at $2210.

7. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any prizes damaged in transit.

9. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential losses) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained by the winner of a prize or any other person or otherwise suffered or sustained in connection with participating in this competition, as a result of taking or making use of any prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter or any person associated with any of them, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

10. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by the Privacy Notice (found on the ACP Magazines website: www.acpmagazines.com.au)
